)The Stage( exhibition has a performative and interactive approach – with remnants, archives, documentation, models – almost like ‘art props of art’. It shows art recipes that invites everyone to follow, either on site with props or elsewhere, together with a line-up of performances and workshops. )The Stage( is a stage for you, a place to be, a place to stay, a place to get better, a place to understand, a place to connect, a place to read, a place to hang out, a place to meet without borders, a place to perform, a place to be yourself, a place to reflect, a place to think, a place to interact, a place to experiment – a community. Separating and connection, as a platform placed in a room together with neighbors, overlapping each other, with a booth which is outlined, one place, divided into various places, to read, to act, to experience. The importance of exchange and comparison, to the awareness of identity and traditions, where places are essential to gather. To see the surroundings, how it changes when going from place to place, from country to country – the use of symbols, the production and trade of materials, ideologies and values. Making art together, where everyone is equal, everyone is a creator - blurring the lines of norms around who makes art, for whom, theme, medium. But where recipes can intertwine us as people, gather around food, the meal, the feast, everyone doing the same act and knows how to do it - that method is precisely used in the creation of these works. The art recipes, )The Stage( is yours.

The RUM два Tea is an advertising sculpture which consists of tea that is grown and harvested in Serbia and Denmark - it’s a mix of sea buckthorn, juniper berries, blackberry leaves and currants (harvested in forests and by the sea in Denmark), and motherwort leaves and flowers, and winter savory (harvested outside of Belgrade and on the Rtanj mountain). The tea has a magical effect, almost like an elixir that strengthens, rejuvenates, and calms the body. You are welcome to fill a bag of RUM два Tea and take it home. Два or dva means two, like contrasts, black and white, east and west. Two poles which is connecting, like magnets finding each other and sticks together. A learning from both sides, always to look an extra time, or to see from both sides. Which will result in a more sustainable thinking of connecting and understanding in any kind, with humans, debates, questions. Everything as a reminder when you sip the tea.

The relationship is the true interest of my research, for I have never seen it. Yet, everyone is talking about it, even worse, all are claiming that they are in possession of one. Relationship, as a totality of two, is rather impossible then improbable, I would argue. And I did, as a part of my research on the dynamics of the two.

Peter Diego is an artist and musician and has previously played in bands such as Tots and Bedlam Boys from the Aarhus’ underground scene, where the style and genre have leaned on post-punk and surf rock. In his solo project he performs alone with an electric guitar and crooner vocals, described as mellow pop rock. The atmosphere is subdued and almost romantic, and although the songs sometimes bear the stamp of the classic rock structure, they are intense in a completely different way. The lyrics deal with everyday observations, inadequacy, and desire. He is the frontman in his new band Orvil and also has composed music for artistic projects.
